Marissa GolczewskiInstructor
Marissa (G) grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida where she began taking dance and gymnastics classes at the age of 3. Her passion for dance started because her mother wanted her to do an extracurricular activity, and after that her passion continued to grow. Marissa started out taking tap and ballet classes, and as she got older, she started to train in almost every style of dance including jazz, modern, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, pointe, ballet, tap, and acro. Marissa has always enjoyed every style of dance, but acro was one of her favorites since she had been a gymnast for many years. She has always loved the joy on her teammates’ faces whenever they would get a new trick or skill. Marissa started competitively dancing at the age of 10 and has won many regional and national titles in her 8 years of competitions. In her senior year, Marissa was asked to tour with Revel Dance Convention as a Pro Reveler for the 2022/2023 dance season. She is currently studying at the University of South Florida and hopes to graduate with a bachelor’s in business management and a minor in dance.
Marissa came to A&G as a student in September of 2017 and is now an A&G Alumni. She had always enjoyed assisting dance classes and from an early age she knew exactly what she wanted to do when she grew up. Her dreams of being a dance teacher came true when she got asked to be on A&G faculty the season after she graduated High School. She loves teaching acro, tap, hip hop, and contemporary classes and is thrilled to start choreographing in the future. Marissa has always been her students’ biggest fan and is always making sure that the room is filled with positive and uplifting energy. She is so excited to be teaching at A&G and cannot wait to see what this journey has in store for her!
